Adobe Grants – Using Creative Cloud to Foster Digital Literacies

We are excited to launch a new grant program in partnership with Adobe to support students’ digital literacies through multimedia assignments and projects in the classroom. We believe that students who can define appropriate contexts for digital tools, analyze applications of digital media, and use digital tools for presentation and creation are better prepared for the workforce and for engaged citizenship.

We sought proposals from faculty and staff that leveraged our Adobe Creative Cloud ecosystem with the goals of:

  • Building faculty capacity in integrating digital tools in the curricula.
  • Developing students’ knowledge and skills in digital storytelling, visual design, data visualization, video production, and other media through the use of Creative Cloud.
  • Nurturing digital fluencies in students across the disciplines, particularly in general education and lower division courses.
  • Developing use cases of and open learning content for the use of Creative Cloud.

We are pleased to announce the first round of awardees!
