Digital Accessibility and Equity

At California State University (CSU), we believe in fostering an inclusive and accessible digital environment for all. The CSU Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI) is committed to ensuring that everyone, including individuals with disabilities, has equal access to information, tools, and technologies.

What We Do

The ATI focuses on three key areas:

  • Accessible Procurement: We guide and support the procurement of accessible information and communication technology products and services.
  • Web Accessibility: We ensure that all CSU websites and web applications are designed and maintained to be accessible to people of all abilities.
  • Instructional Materials Accessibility: We provide guidelines and resources to guarantee that course materials are accessible to all students from day one.

Accessible technology is essential for equity, enabling everyone to participate fully in academic, social, and professional environments. Our work ensures that the CSU community benefits from a more inclusive digital landscape, enhancing learning opportunities and promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
